An Australian auto-parts distributor arranged a performance brake upgrade for a customer’s Audi Q8. The brief called for strong high-load braking, reliable road manners, and retention of the rear electronic parking brake.
Selected setup
The active SR8 front kit was paired with the active SR4-Explore rear EPB kit. The project record specifies 400×36 mm front and 380×28 mm rear rotors with ceramic pads; these dimensions describe the completed case and require vehicle-specific fitment confirmation.
Result
The front eight-piston and rear EPB configuration delivered a predictable pedal, improved stability under load, and retained the vehicle’s electronic parking-brake function.
